Northern Bay Sands Park Opening May 14, 2010

Northern Bay Sands is located on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada's eastern most province.

The beach is about 135km from St. John's (the provincial capital) and 33km from the historic and well-known Conception Bay North town of Carbonear.'

Directions:

• Continue on Route1 as far as Exit 31 - The Baccalieu Trail
• At Exit 31 take Route 75 (Veterans' Memorial Highway) to Carbonear.
• Continue on Route 75 to Carbonear, and continue on to Victoria.
• In Victoria at the intersection between Route 74 (to Heart's Content) and Route 70 (to Old Perlican and Bay de Verde) - BE SURE to keep on Route 70.
• Continue on Route 70 and you will arrive in Northern Bay.
